Yeah, that is normal (but not good). He used the XPize Settings tool to change icons size, then uninstalled XPize. The uninstaller doesn't know about the XPize Settings tool, so icons stayed with same size.

In XPize / Vize, uninstalling is not equal to restoring.

In Anolis, we should be able to find a way to restore the system to its original state when the user uninstalls it, because that's what the user expects to happen.

well, we could fix this by backing up all known regentries, and on uninstall execute the backup'ed
regfile with regedit :D
that way you will have the settings as they were in the registry before install.

Distributions of Anolis will no-longer be "installed" onto a computer. Instead the program is ran to apply the changes (and make backup copies where necessary) and ran again to remove the changes if the user so chooses.

There will be a more resiliant backup/restore system that should avoid these problems in future.
