I'm not surprised. We're just starting to work on getting the Ruby-C stuff up to speed, which is fairly new material for me as well. I expect the c parser will be almost entirely rewritten this weekend (I've been using Mongrel's work as a starting point...they do a pretty good job :)

Are you still getting segfaults on leopard with the latest Gherkin? I'm aware that compiling under 1.8 and running under 1.9 and vice versa will still cause them, but I'm not seeing any issues compiling and running under the same ruby installation.

Just started seeing segmentation faults as well on gherkin 2.0.2
Using the default profile...
