- patch https://github.com/csirtgadgets/massive-octo-spice/blob/develop/src/lib/CIF/Plugin/DateTime.pm (with a test) to support that date format
- feature request in v3 (it's a good idea, preprocessing, spec it out, write a test, etc)
- write a custom app similar to py-cleanmx or py-cifapwg to account for it (optional, w/o having to touch core code)
(i'm guessing at-least #1 since that's euro-style and we should account for it somewhere)
