Does this happen in every file? Can you post a small file that creates this behavior? I'll have to track down a version of Windows to test this.

I have the same problem. I'm on Windows 7. It happens in every file. Here's a very simple example:

class ApplicationController < ActionController::Base
protect_from_forgery
end

This issue is also happening on Linux (Ubuntu).
File content is getting deleted for every file.

Happens for me too. ST2 v2181, installed BeautifyRuby a couple of minutes ago via PackageControl.

+1, windows 7.

This appears to be an issue of the path to Ruby being incorrect for the OS. On OS X and Linux, '/usr/bin/env ruby' appears to work fine and should fix this issue on Linux. #6f8f13155435f7.

I haven't used Windows for over 15 years so if someone has a good way of targeting Ruby on Windows please let me know.

Thanks to @eka (Esteban Feldman), this issue is now resolved. See #6b9b563b3eff8c567ae651036be049e17106da49

You can now set the interpreter through settings.
