Luckily the Internet Archive has a copy: http://web.archive.org/web/20170917130815/http://sortvis.org/

I love this project, @cortesi, and I'm sad that the web site is gone. Would you consider hosting the site on GitHub pages? I'm happy to help set it up.

If you have an old archive of the site, just attach it to a comment on this issue, and I'll convert it into a pull request with a docs folder for this project. Then you would need to turn on GitHub pages. If you still own sortvis.org, you can configure a custom domain for GitHub pages, but I've never done that.

I recreated the website on GitHub Pages and put it in pull request #12. Until @cortesi has a chance to review that, you can find the site at donkirkby.github.io/sortvis.

Thanks @donkirkby! 👍 Could you enable the issue tracker for https://github.com/donkirkby/sortvis? E.g. the readme has a leftover link to sortvis.org .

I fixed the links in README, @hartwork, but I don't want to enable issue tracker on my fork yet. I'll wait a while longer to see if @cortesi is still interested in maintaining this project.

Until then, anyone with suggestions about my rebuild can tag me in a comment on this issue or post a comment on pull request #12.

@donkirkby thanks! The readme fixes are on a not-the-default branch so the changes are effectively invisible. Wanted to be sure that's fully intended also.

The site https://cortesi.github.io/sortvis doesn't exist yet, @hartwork, so pushing the readme fix to my master branch would just cause confusion. It's in the pull request's branch, so it should eventually end up on the real master branch.
