@Rheeseyb - yes. @alecmolloy and I already discussed this; the first solution to prototype (since you really need to work with it to understand if it's good) was to use borderless controls for unset properties.

I will update the ticket to reflect that (a) the outcome is a prototype, and (b) how the first one should work (like that).

@alecmolloy if this is something you already got started with, please assign yourself and move it into Doing on the Utopia board.
