@Rheeseyb it's hard for me to comment on the hidden-assumptions part without understanding how our resize control works in different contexts, but as a user I can say I don't believe there are any: "If an edge of the resize container with the handles at the end of the resize is where it was at the beginning, treat it as though it hasn't changed at all".

I'm more just commenting that it feels like we're going to find some whilst working on this, but I can't think where specifically right now.
