I have never tried using a proxy myself, but it seems there is some inconsistency between the CLI and the context when it comes to the proxy parameter. The code makes it seem like the CLI uses --proxy to define the proxy server, but the context shortcuts expect it to be called httpProxyHandler. The actual context key is defined here.

So maybe changing proxy to httpProxyHandler in the context will do the trick, or using the full key value? If that does not work, I hope someone else has a better idea. 🙂

You could setup your own CORS proxy using packages such as https://www.npmjs.com/package/cors-anywhere
