What about integrate PIWIK for tracking? Maybe a bit overloaded, but no real work to integrate.

Integration of piwik seems not to suit our needs of tracking how long people queried their number in vain. So I vote for Python logging with text files.

What is it exactly you want to log? What should be the trigger, and what information should be logged? Should this specific info (whatever it is) be saved in its own file, not in local.log?
