Hi Ben,
thanks for using the script and appreciating it, it's the gas that makes us go ahead.
I've never though of doing it but, since right now Angular is stable I can try it, maybe is not going to take too much.
Honestly I was a little bit disappointed about angular(2/4) frequent changes and I never get too much into it, I've moved to Vue, but I know Angular is still the leader framework.
I will post some updates on this the next days, have a good day!

Yes the project here is awesome! It was one of the first places I found when researching contenteditable. I couldn't agree more about Angular. I've been using it on a project since its beta and yes before V4 it was painful... Angular's Material 2 alpha releases are also painful.
However Angular has leveled off and seems to be stable, including it's planned features, it should not bring breaking changes as far as I can see.
Also, there is no comparable project that I've found yet for NG2/contenteditable. I think you'd have a great audience! Let me know if I can help, I really want to learn about using it well..

i'm on it, started few hours ago, so I didn't forget :]
but the more i'm digging into troubles and into documentation, the more I'm disappointed, to quote a phrase that I just red in a issue talking about Renderer.invokeElementMethod and how to trigger manually the focus on a element from a directive:
I was thinking of angular as a modern and easy framework...but unable to activate focus on next field when validating with enter . for myself writing 15 lines of directive to do this is too much work.
Which totally resumes what I'm thinking right now lol...but I will still finish this.

That's really funny that you got into the renderer... I've been working with it too and yes it's a huge pain. I think the voice around the community is that dynamic components should be much easier to work with.

okk, I finally did it, ngx-content-editable it's still a work in progress and there are not yet all the functions as in this one but mainly because I'm not using angular quite often in this time.
@BenRacicot if you want to contribute, beta test, write a cool demo page, tests or something else it will be appreciated a lot!
If you have any question about how doing this feel free to ask anytime!
