Opera problem about nivo-slider-jquery

I noticed the same. Have you tried updating the Nivo slider to 1.9? Also add:

#slider a{display:block;}

seems to fix the problem.

yep, I'm using the newest version
hmm... I've tried it and for me it doesn't seem to work. I've solved the problem by adding:

#slider img {visibility:hidden;} // instead of display:none
#slider {min-height:100px;} // so the gif animation for loading images is visible

but now I get some strange flickering in the transitions (only in Opera)

Try to to call Nivo Like that

thanks for the tip - I'll try it next time I'll be using Nivo Slider - for now my method seems to work (the flickering dissapeared) so "if it works, don't change it" ;)
