Thanks for surfacing these projects! Right now we're focused on building something lightweight and pretty bare bones to see if we can change the way public records requests are managed internally (within Oakland's city hall, to start) in addition to the external facing components. We're hoping that by putting them online for both parties to see, more ownership of who needs to fulfill the record request can take place. But we need to test that assumption first. I think longer-term, something like froide could be redeployed, but we're not quite there yet. Would be happy to discuss more offline though!
