It should only work if the user has the gem installed, though, it should not be a hard dependency.

@floere I recall that we discussed a similar feature in CocoaPods/Core that I was planning to leverage for this one, but I don't recall the conclusion... could you update me?

@irrationalfab If I remember correctly, you had made a branch with the gem you mention above. I was exploring some solutions and noted that the above solution is going to get very slow soon (since it's done each time, and the number of specs is increasing quickly). But for this issue, it's a perfect solution, as the number of commands is very small and won't grow large.
