Hmm, I agree it would make parsing easier, but I don’t like it aesthetically speaking :-/

It may has its advantages, but I'm not really fond of this either.
Besides, it won't be consistent, because local
would be a subcommand of search
, but search
is also a subcommand of pod
, so why would we have a space between pod
and search
but a colon between search
and local
? Not very consistent.
I prefer the approach we have now with subcommands separated by spaces, like openssl
or git
or a lot of other commands.
