Looks very nice!
Be sure to make it overridable and not assume colours but ANSI codes. E.g. in RubyMotion we donβt use colours, but we do use bold etc.

Actually regarding the default subcommand, I realized only lately that the -
was indicating the default command (especially because the -
character is less visible than *
).
I think a better standard would be to invert those two, and use -
for non-default subcommands and *
for the default one. Or use -
for non-default, and +
for the default one.
Or maybe the characters used here come from inspiration from some UNIX commands?
