Gifs Won't Save about simpleimage

The library relies on the file extension you set in the save() method to determine which format to use. As long as it matches gif (case insensitive) it will output a GIF:

$image->save('test.gif');

In case there is none, shouldn't there be a fallback?

There should probably be a default and also an override parameter, but you could also work around it by simply renaming the file after saving it.

I'll leave this ticket open so we can evaluate things.
