Or I guess you could just call me Claus, if you've played with me online...

For starters, my name is Lucas Aquino de Oliveira, and my age isn't really important, skills and experience are. For the first half of my life I've been a wreck of a guy, stumbling around my wants and ambitions, with no clear goal of who I wanted to become.

After being in the army for almost a decade (time flies...😵), and with my service nearing its end, it finally hit me. Playing around with my computer, using it to study, entertain myself with some anime and videos, gaming and meeting some wonderful people solely from me being in my PC, I get it now. This machine is my safe haven, it's what allows me to momentarily forget my own problems and allows me to to stop and think with a clear head.

So why not strive to do something that would allow me to continue using my passion, expanding the ways I could interact with it and, through this path, meet so many more people who share my dreams and beliefs? Yes, I want to become a developer, a full-stack dev, in specific, in hopes that I, eventually, could write sotware on my own.

And yes, I'm aware it's not exactly easy to earn my way into the developer ranks. I believe I can do it, even if it's through sheer force of will. I will show the programming market who I am strive to become not the best, but, realistically, someone I can be proud of.

Foot on the ground, here. My knowledge and skills are pathetically low, compared to some other people I know.

I won't let it get to me, though. Being a programmer is who I want to be and there is no shortage of drive in my mind, specially in my heart.
