Revert restore about dropbox-restore

The script will make no change to that file. I clarified this in the readme. Thanks for pointing that out.

Actually, in the case you described it would delete the file, but if the file never existed it would do nothing. I decided that the best behavior would be to delete it in both cases, so I made that change. Now it will restore it to its exact previous state, even if it has to delete files. The deletes are not permanent, it just creates a revision that corresponds to deletion.

BTW this works by looking the Dropbox history online, and not the history on my hard drive, right?

Yeah, it uses the Dropbox server's history.
