But then the main repo page will show this README (master contains standard-all package) and we'll lose a possibility to explain how to use this repo. I think that projects that target in taking releases and creating some integration packages should remove this repo's README or replace it with the one for releases.

After longer discussion we decided to keep the current state, because there's no elegant solution possible. This repository is used with Bower, Composer, NuGet, git submodules system and perhaps in dozen other ways - each of them requiring different subset of information which contradict themselves when gathered together.

Let's keep it this way and see if anyone will report it as anything important.
