Yes, this is related to the "new Sheets" rollout. They're making progress (I now have an API endpoint to use) but they are ignoring request parameters. So we can't query the data and we can't even easily load the data (because they ignore the callback function name we pass in).

So we wait. In the meantime you should use the "old" Sheets.

Is there a way to move back to old? I never opted in to a new Sheets; it looks like we might not get a choice anymore: https://support.google.com/drive/answer/3544847?hl=en

I think you're right. We're in the opt-in period. Existing spreadsheets aren't converted, but new ones are automatically in the new format. That puts us in a bad spot. We just have to wait for Google to implement the promised functionality.

Fortunately they haven't started upgrading old ones yet, so I have a bunch of empty 'Untitled Spreadsheets' I can make use of.
