To add to this, wifi-menu is not included in arch anymore by default.

Thanks, I'll be putting a new hostname on this and random digit at end.

My laptop worked just fine, but on my desktop I had the same issue, so I resolved by creating the hostname file:
sudo nano /etc/hostname
Add the name of your host, save and exit.
reboot

@smorpaket oh man leave it to arch to do something stupid like that. iwctl is terrible compared to wifi-menu.
