It's complicated. The canonical URI is still /api/odata for listing, filtering and searching packages. I put some redirects in that will redirect user-agents that contain nuget from / and /api for convenience.

The reason I did this is that the NuGet command line client behaves confusingly when pushing or deleting packages and I was attempting to make it so one URI could be used for all of these activities.

The NuGet Package Explorer behaves differently still from the command line client, for example appending api/v2/package to literally any URI for which you ask it to push a package to.

Long story short is you can continue to use /api/odata and Visual Studio and the NuGet command line client will continue to work, and the Package Explorer probably will not.
