@SecUpwN - None of the tracking options are enabled by default mainly because I was concerned about battery impacts as once enabled listeners are established to monitor for changes and update the database with the details.

I would be happy to change this but am thinking that maybe an option to allow the user to enable tracking by default or only when selected, What do you think?

Once tracking is enabled it will capture the details in the database located here:
/data/data/com.SecUpwN.AIMSICD/databases/cellinfo

Within the database you will find 3 tables Cell Info, Signal Strength and Location.

Within the MapView section (which I know you cannot access) is the ability to download OpenCellID data of all CellID's within their database in a 100 mile radius of the current location, this could be moved into the main section of the app to allow comparisons between known Cell ID information stored by OpenCellID and comparisons regarding signal strength etc. Let me know you thoughts on that as well.

Ok, this is fair reasoning, @xLaMbChOpSx. I'll vote for making this an option in the settings then. Regarding the comparison of signal strength and such things: Moving it into the main screen of the App is fine, as long as AIMSICD will continue to look as clean as it does now. Could this comparison take place without GPS, only using the Cell ID? I'm kinda paranoid when it comes down to GPS tracking stuff.

@SecUpwN @xLaMbChOpSx
I believe this was done, so I consider this issue as closed.
