Hi @nick, I've created #59 for the link field for Folders as I think it's not related with this one in the end.

To add it as a char field and include it in the forms for Folders and Collections and take it in consideration in the METS parsing process.

This field is now in use to allocate the AIC id from Archivematica, which is used in SCOPE to relate the Folder created from the DIP to an existing Collections.
I think we could close this issue, unless you think such a field is necessary for display purposes in the Collections and/or Folders.
