Hi egalitarian, thanks so much for the effort!

About creating PR- first, make sure that you are not working directly on the master branch, create your own branch for your work.

Best would be to follow naming conventions for branches and use fix/some-fix for fixing existing things, and feat/some-feature for completely new features in library.

When you commit and push your local branch into remote repository, you need to open repository main page, and you'll see button for creating PR for merging your branch into default, in our case, master branch. If you have conflicts between your and master branch you need to fix them before merging.

Also, you can optionally add reviewers for PR, please add @carstenschaefer or me as reviewers.
