Hello,
I have installed our module using composer on a clean installation of Magento 2.2.7, in order to replicate the error you mentioned.
However, I am able to select the settings and configure the module without a hitch.
Also a test transaction goes as expected.
Note: Magento 2.2.7 also does not update the order status, to fix this, see our previous explanation #15
