i hope you will drop lib folder, since maven can download all dependenices from default repo.

"lib" folder has been removed.
Updated pom to build javadoc and package sources.
Updated pom to create distribution archives.
Still need to change pom to package test classes and sources.

Finished apart from test classes and sources. I might revisit this in the future, but not now.
