This requires access to possibly nested subitem lists on an existing media list.
The existing media list may need to be refactored to support this (#50).
Further, the discovery is dynamic and discovered media may come and go at any time based on the receipt of various events. Therefore any Java component needs to be responsive to events and resynchronise its view of the discovered media accordingly.
