It's pretty much impossible to help you with the limited information you've posted here.

You actually have two separate unrelated problems so you should have posted two separate issues so they can be properly tracked.

For the first: You must at the very least post a simple standalone test case in a single class that demonstrates the problem. I can tell you for certain that the code you quoted "mediaPlayer.playMedia()" is not the cause of your problem.

For the second: There are many problems with full-screen mode on Windows and they are not all solved. You need to write your own working implementation of FullScreenStrategy (see the Javadoc).
