It's an architectural problem. It will be fixed on version 4 of ngMask. I'm rewriting the mask to improve quality and compress code.

For now, I was able to fix this by adding the following to ngMask.js around line 128:

if (input.setSelectionRange) {
  var currentInputVal = $element.val();
  var start = input.selectionStart + (viewValueWithDivisors.length - currentInputVal.length);
  timeout = $timeout(function(){
    input.focus();
    input.setSelectionRange(start, start);
  });
}

hdaggett, do you think your fix is pull request worthy? If so, I would go for it!

I noticed some odd behavior with the fix posted by hdaggett, especially if you have multiple fields with a mask on it. Each control gets focus as the directive loads, and in my page, it actually caused scrolling.

To fix, I removed the input.focus() line right before input.setSelectionRange(), and all is good!
