@BlythMeister I have released a preview which is compatible with Cake 2.0.0-rc0001 - I'm planning to release a stable version following closely the upcoming Cake 2.0.0 release.
So.. If you wanted to start working on this, it seems now would be the perfect time 😉

@nils-a I can see you've left the "old" events in as obsolete.
Is that to make sure anyone inheriting from this library doesn't get any surprises?
Or is it ok to make changes here a bit more breaking than cake itself.

That was done in Cake, to not break existing usages of ICakeEngine, hence implementations of ICakeEngine (like this library) still need to implement those. I marked them obsolete here, too, so existing users of this library can start migrating away from them.
