The 3 second response time enforced by Discord on the server side. You need to send an ack and then can post a follow up.
Here is an example:
The command is ack'd on Line 244 https://github.com/avislash/nftstamper/blob/main/cartel/bot.go#L244
Then once the command has been executed the acknowledgement is edited with the response on line 285
https://github.com/avislash/nftstamper/blob/main/cartel/bot.go#L285
