I suppose whether the exception is swallowed or not should be optional? What do you think?

I think this would have limited utility for others as there is so much variability (does the exception propagate, passing in options to the notify call, etc), it also would catch all errors and make the code considerably more cryptic for new travellers who might not be familiar with bugsnag.
I think having this in a module in your project (if you are doing this sort of thing very often) then that is the best solution. Thanks for the suggestion!

Well, whatever you pass to notifying will be passed to notify. Exception propagation should be decided though. This is a pattern that I see very often, like File.open or Multitenant.with_tenant.
