In my demo application (at this link) I wasn't able to reproduce what you were talking about. Are you running into something in your own application? Are you able to share more sample code or a reproduction somehow?
After copying the code from the component into your own application, you're able to modify it and maybe put some logs in or use a debugger to see what might be giving the error. Maybe the useSearchParams isn't updated right away or there's some kind of server slowness happening that may cause the page not to refresh properly.

Here's a video walkthrough of me trying to reproduce it and it was working as expected. The "Next" button is disabled properly when there are no more pages (50 on my example page)
