Google Chrome versions over 47 require HTTPS or localhost in order to use the getUserMedia
API securely.
If this is not possible for your type of development you could look into using something like the unsafely-treat-insecure-origin-as-secure
flag.
from webgazer.
is there anything we could edit in index.mjs to get rid of the https requirement? trying to run a user study on our lab-mates. tried the unsafely-treat-insecure-origin-as-secure in chrome, did not resolve the issue for us

@germanenik you can comment out the bit on line 627 in index.mjs if you want to remove the warning, but if you can't run WebGazer over http at all, it's a browser restriction
