I contacted a teacher to get reactions about the article and if doing it with an app would be a good idea. A bit truncated, I phrased the question as:
Would this work in your classroom? The reason why I'm asking, is because people have started to think of building an app for it.
The response (translated from Swedish):
Definitely. That's great, but the information can only come to me and nobody else. Students should not be able to see the result. There is a lot of hierarchy in a group of students, but students of the age I'm tutoring still expresses what they think if they are allowed to do it by themselves. But they have to trust me that I do not use the information "against" them.

Btw, maybe the 👍 from developers was a bit of an exaggeration. Some people thought an app isn't necessary to get the information needed.
This is worth thinking about. What would make a digital tool give more information than a piece of paper?

The information could help teachers, and the schools, to keep track of this over time. Of course, this could also easily be achieved using pen and paper.
Although, if the app itself totally anonymizes the individual students, it would be safer to use than pen and paper.
