Code for P2V-MAP

The code in this repository implements P2V-MAP as proposed in

Gabel, S., Guhl, D., & Klapper, D. (2019). P2V-MAP: Mapping Market Structures for Large Retail Assortments. Journal of Marketing Research (forthcoming).

Please cite the paper if you use this software. Please note that all code and data is provided here as is and without any warranty or certification of any kind, express or implied.

System requirements

  • Python3
  • virtualenv
  • npm (>= 5)

Tested with Python 3.5.2, virtualenv 16.0.0, and npm 6.4.1 on Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS.

Setup

bash setup.sh

Run example

Start notebook server

jupyter lab

and execute code.
