It's unfortunate that the final API has been introduced in Fx 25. Fx 25 is being released on 29th October and ordinarily by the time Brief 2.0 was ready (around the end of the year, probably) Fx 25 would enjoy enough uptake to be made the minimum version. However, Fx 24 happens to be Extended Support Release.
Luckily, it turned out the older version of the API is good enough and I have a branch converting the entire codebase to Promises. We will bump the min version to 24.
