I am facing the exact same issue. The slow SQL is not getting selected due to this error

This is fixed now; just pull the latest changes. The fix provided could be structured better, but it will work and be backwards compatable. Ideally this would require a bit of refactoring in the MySQLTableReport class to further expand on how fields are handled -- by creating a object to represent them which will store more info such as table and column name, as well as if it's an expression or not. That would allow the aliasing and query generation to be a bit more intelligent. I'll create a TODO issue for that.
