Should be plain ASCII characters only.
If what you're getting is not ASCII, I would risk saying that it's not the seed.
Can you share more details of your findings?

@vs0uz4, well, there's no single seed, it depends on your modem and your ISP. More specifically, it depends on whether your ISP changed the default seed, and what it was.

Also, just like the other one you also commented on, this is a closed issue and unrelated to your question. There are better ways to ask for help, like commenting on the project page.
