Thanks! I tend to use the same alert_message (with inline errors) in my form partials for both create and update actions. For the apps I work on, this has been enough for us. Give me a little more context so I can understand your issue better.

What default message do you tend to use for create and update actions? Maybe i can use that.

I am writing tests with rspec/capybara and have;

Object has not been created

and

Object has not been updated

Never mind I see the default message. That will work...
