For TYPO3 7LTS it would be nice if you could configure whether the Backend Pages appear in the user menu (in the drop down menu on the top) or in the Administration menu (on the left).

What if we could have more than one menu item? Thinking of links like „Welcome“, „Help“, „Support“...

There is an extension setting which was intended to individually name the menu label. It is not working at the moment, because the label is taken from the language file (.xlf). Maybe we should read this setting in conf.php to load a custom one.

Due to changes in the way the main content frame is rendered in TYPO3, long pages are not able to be scrolled anymore. This issue is linked to issue Isse 84476 in TYPO3 Core.

Bump up compatibility to upcoming version 8

To activate Backend page type, we could use a pageTS template to activate in page configuration
