MSVC 12: Error building tests with 64 bit ABI about bde

Nope. I'm on a 64 bit Windows 8 machine. The error seems to be fairly common but most of the suggested solutions are not applicable because of the external waf mechanism.

Based on your results, it appears that MSVC 12 may have changed and/or added platform specifications, and the BDE build system will have to be updated to take those into account.

I know Alisdair was looking into VS 2013. I'm not sure whether he is past the "I need to get the compiler installed to test this" phase....

@mridulkhan, the build problem you reported is due to a build configuration issue, which has been fixed at Bloomberg, but not pushed to github.
We just synced the changes. Please try again.

Thanks. The tests compile and pass now. The number of parallel jobs still needs to be set to 1 though; see #111.
