How does this add-on compare to the official Blender glTF 2.0 add-on?
Is it useful to continue the export of an add-on that exports to the same format?
A couple of considerations
- The Blender glTF exporter doesn't seem to have any settings to export interleaved vertex attributes which is what GM uses (and requires). GameMaker currently can't handle indexed geometry.
- Does glTF support texture packing? There should be a way to refer uv coordinates to the same texture page/texture/image/...
If not, is it possible to define a glTF extension for this?

An issue exists in the official glTF-Blender-IO repo. Ideally the official glTF exporter would take care of this.
