Note: Zero width selections should have a cursor on each line.

Yeah I totally agree with this. Sublime's method is much nicer, it seems to get the actual screen coordinate of the cursor to draw the box, where as I just hijack the standard text selection method.
I definitely plan to add this in the future

@jtokoph Cheers for the pull request mate. Ive merged and also included the whole 'screen coordinate' based selection i talked about. It feels a lot more like sublime now
