how to use shortcodes about bigcommerce-for-wordpress

Hi,

I was having the same issue and just want to let you know what I found out in case you were having trouble or others encountered this.

Here are the the short codes I got to work while playing around:

[bigcommerce_product featured="1"]

[bigcommerce_product sale="1"]

[bigcommerce_product brand="OFS"]

I figure that categories work the same as the brand I just didn't test it.

I know the issue I was having was because I went into my big commerce set stuff up for thesale and featured products but I couldn't get them to appear on the page. It took me a few minutes to realize that I needed to re-sync the products for any changes to take effect. Once I did that the short codes worked and showed the products where they were supposed to.

Great info shared by @PMAWebmaster ! Categories would work the same way, for example:

[bigcommerce_product category="bath,garden,publications" order="ASC"]

For search or recent, you could do something like:

[bigcommerce_product search="towel"]

[bigcommerce_product order="ASC" recent="1"]

[bigmadness]
