I am Bhakti Raut, an engineering student (3rd year) at Yeshwatrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. I am a physics and mathematics enthusiast and engineering makes me aware of the real-world applications of both.

"As much as I love science and its technological impact, its overwhelming questions and mysteries, what interests me the most about it, is the realization that even if I am unable to get to the correct answer to a problem, I will still have something to hold on to and think upon, the fact that you can be wrong but never actually fail while studying science intrigued me and inspired me to choose it as my goal."

• I enjoy stargazing and gaining more knowledge related to my interested topics (Particle physics, Astrophysics or physics in general, technologies associated with them and ancient civilizations)

Internships:

• Internship Trainee: Machine Learning and AI (using Python) offered by Microsoft [Project Based]

During the course of this two months long internship I enhanced my python programming skills along with gaining an Hands on experience of ML algorithms. I successfully developed the final project for Internship Completeion titled Heart Disease Prediction Model.

• Intership Trainee at Acmegrade

I completed this 2 mpnths Internship of Internet of Things (IoT) and gained advanced knowledge of IoT fundamentals, its components and learned how to work on embedded technologies like Arduino and Arduino IDE.

• Content Writer at Samagra Foundation

I worked at the Content writers position at Samagra foundation. This intership gave me opportunity to explore my love for writing and helped me reach out to a wider group of people. This internship not just exposed me to real-time work experience but also allowed me to explore my knowledge and post articles about trending topics related to Science, Tech, Politics, environment, etc. on Google and the Shouts site.

• Subject Matter Expert (Advanced Mathematics at FreeCo eduventures)

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), I developed solutions for questions related to Advanced Mathematics.

This course introduced me to some advanced calculus topics, building my fundamentals in mathematics.

Volunteering Experience

• Team Everest (Curriculum developemet for children of rural schools)
• Earth Hero: An active member of the Earth Hero community as a part of this community I volunteer and check my and my surrounding CO2 emissions and I have an active goal of planting at least 2 trees a month, cleaning my area, and spreading awareness for the same.
• iNaturalist (Naturalist): Observing and recording various flora and fauna species in the surrounding area.
