Not sure from the snippet you posted. Can you perhaps create a simple project one can run that replicates your issue?

@bertramn - You can easily replicate this issue. Just create a single test class, which has more than one or three test cases with CRUD operation. Each test should open/close the embedded mongoDb connection. After dry run, you'll see in logs that embedded mongoDb is stuck and not proceeding further to complete all the test cases in class.

Similar, problem can be replicated with multiple test classes and running them combined with Junit Runner.

I run 100s of tests a day that open/close a mongo connection and drop collections, recreate indexes etc before every test case is run. Unless you can point me to a simple example project on GitHub that demonstrates the failure or add a unit or integration test to this project, I am afraid I can't help much.
