It doesn't solve the diff rendering problem; the purpose of this project is to put all of the diffs in one repo, so the changes to all the AWS docs for a given time period can be reviewed in one place. Otherwise you're still stuck subscribing to N different repos.

There is an API for commits but it is not a productive avenue. Also,

Yeah, there's no API way to do commits at all. If you go the fork and auto-PR route, that would save you from implementing your own diff rendering.
