I would also add that it would be good to use the relative URL of the workspace relative to the repo root and prepend it to the path of the file. This is helpful when you have opened a sub folder in vscode since the whole repo is huge.

@MirzaSikander Had a discussion with @benkaiser and we published the v2 version to allow adding the repo root: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=AnkitSharma.open-in-azure-devops-v2

Will try adding the git integration sometime this week.
